I Built a Brand I Didn’t Even Like Anymore
They say “launch fast, adjust later.” So I did.
I created Dreamy Socials with a name I liked, fonts that were cute, and branding that felt good enough to get started. And for a while, it worked. I had clients. I had momentum. I had something on the internet that looked like a business.
But about six months in, I started feeling a disconnect I couldn’t ignore.
The brand I had built wasn’t attracting the people I really wanted to serve. I wasn’t excited about the projects coming in. It didn’t reflect what I was actually good at—or the clients I knew I could help most.
It wasn’t bad—but it wasn’t me anymore.
So I paused.
And I marinated on it.
For three months, I worked behind the scenes—refining services, rethinking messaging, and paying attention to what felt aligned and what didn’t.
That’s when Moody started to take shape.
MOODY Creative Media was born from two things:
I wanted to create a brand that helped people show up online without feeling like they had to perform. Something that reflected Gen Z’s influence on digital culture, but also welcomed older generations who felt left behind.
So I scrapped what didn’t work.
I redesigned the name, the logo, the vibe.
I built a site, refined the offers, and made sure everything aligned with my actual strengths—not just what looked good on Canva six months earlier.
Dreamy was soft, feminine, and aesthetic-forward.
MOODY is bold, strategic, and flexible enough to speak to a wider audience.
Here’s what I’ve learned: launching fast is fine—but pivoting with intention is where the real magic happens.
I don’t regret Dreamy. It got me moving.
But I’m glad I listened when it stopped feeling right.
